1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

How are things working out for you? If you went long dump, my buddy Ed drives 1249 and has been with the company for 5 years, if you ever see him tell him Zach said hi, he's a good guy and will help you if you need it. Either way hope things are working out for you, and if you don't mind my asking where do you live in Florida?

Went through the orientation with no issues. Nice painless orientation and they pay you for going and feed you too .. Had to wait a few days to get a trainer that was running some local stuff to ride with for the "road test" part of it.. Trainer said i was good to go and signed off on me, but they were waiting for a truck to assign me and said to just ride another day or two with the trainer till they got one for me so i could least get paid the training pay instead of nothing for siting home. We are just hauling scrap loads to a shredder in a long steel demo trailer dumping on a pad .. pretty easy stuff. I live in Beverly Hills.

I live in Inverness, small world. Like I said I worked for Pritchett for over 3 years, and worked with Robert for about 4 months. He's a class act guy, and the best dispatcher you will ever have in my opinion. He runs you hard, but he respects you at the same time. Next time you see him tell him Zach from Tallahassee (formerly lived there) said hi. And if you ever have any questions let me know, I know where a lot of the places they pick up and deliver to are, and my friend Ed O'Berry still drives for them, BTW I trained with Wendell, maybe you got him too.

I heard they were getting another batch of new trucks in June or July so hopefully those 1200 series will be phased out, they're old. My buddy is in 1249 and it's got almost 800,000 miles on it and he runs all over.

How's Pritchett treating you? Hopefully things are working out good.

Hmm, I hope you get rolling because I'm pretty sure once you do you'll like it. Pritchett is a good place to work, and they're good people especially Robert, I'm surprised they're not at least running you in a daycab local until they get your sleeper truck ready.
