You are in Columbus, OH. Go to Roadmaster Driving School right there in Columbus. Call them and ask for Randy Reiber in recruiting. He is a good dude. I had a very good experience there and have been successful in my first year and a half.

I was out for 5 years but kept my CDL. I have been with Garner out of Findlay, Oh for just over a year now. Home weekends and they are a good company. They will put you with a trainer for a couple weeks ($95 a day) to get you back in the saddle if they hire you. Do you still have your CDL and how long did you drive before?

moneys real low like every one else trying to find the cheapest and best way possilbe to get back in
Chinatown Thanks this. -
the problem nowadays is insurance companies run the whole show
most find without recent experience it is hard to get back in without going back to school
that was my path -
Prime Inc. is the cheapest. They will even send you a bus ticket to get to their school. You may need about $150.00 in your pocket is all. Can choose refrigerated, flatbed or tanker. Tanker school is in Indiana. They are strict on paperwork; have everything in order. Be prepared to account for last 10 years of employment with W-2's or what ever they require. All their training is free if you work for them one year. I understand Central Refrigerated is about the next cheapest.
