Hold on I will look now. Can I upload a PDF of the manual here? Or just post pictures of it?

This is the only page that talks about the odometer. scan0001_zps9574b4ba.jpg

The Datastar pulls the odometer info off of the ECM itself, along with all the other readings. Only way to reset it would be to put in a new ECM with 0 miles

Yeah I know but issue is, when the ECM reaches over 1 million miles you no longer have a total mileage on truck only equipped with the Data Stars and no odometer on the speedo or tach. Yes Western Star made trucks with out a odo on a gauge, don't ask me why but it seems to be most common on the MBNs. I've got an 03 with MBN like that and an 04 with an MBN same way. Also have 2 04s with MBE4000s and they have both Data Star and odo on the speedo.

Well that's nice to know. I also have a 04 with only an odometer on the Datastar. I'm at 860k right now so it's all still good. Could you hook up a Teltek odometer gauge and just put it in the truck?? Not sure how it would have to be wired, but I'm sure it can be done.
