Now I'm feeling better about not being able to lock the Volvo without a key.

 

I got an extra in my pocket like you plus one in wallet, but I always do visual check of key in hand before I shut the door.

 

At the TA in Hebron, OH. Man I have been having some bad luck. I was doing my walk around on the trailer and noticed the inpection sticker is missing. Called maintenance they told go to a t/s and they will fax the inspection report. So after an hour of waiting (fax machines issues at the TA in Bloomsbury) I finally get it. They were nice and didn't have to pay the 2 bucks because I had to wait so long for it.

 

How many drivers pulled that trlr without doing a proper pretrip before you got it?

 

You can lock the Volvo without a key. Just hit the electric lock button on the door control panel above the control for mirror adjustment. It will lock you out quite nicely.

 

Just a flat panel & mirror heater on this one. Few upgrades other than sliding fifth wheel, better display & APU.

Ah was not aware that it was an upgrade. Both of my Volvos have had it. Company must have decided that key method was better.
