Just wanted to say that my first experience with Maverick was a disapointment. The recruiter came to my school and I was very impressed! Also had a driver stop by with his truck and needless to say, it put our yard trucks to shame.. After I did my homework via truckersreport.com and hearing all of the great things my instructors had to say about them, I decided I was going to apply. It was to my surprise that my application was denied. So I tried to call and get a better understanding as to why, with a clean criminal and driving record as well as a great work history?
They did some research and called me back the same day. Now all I have to do is sign and fax my paperwork over, then I'll be back in the running. Keeping my fingers crossed and looking forward to hearing back from what seems to be the best company in the industry!
Does anyone have a ballpark idea as to how long this application process will take after I fax my papers over tomorrow?

Thank you Jim for the info. Do you mind if I ask if you run TCD or FB? What kind of miles do you get on average?
Thanks all! -
Captain is right, but I'm in flat and I don't know if they've changed the pay recently but they told me 33cpm starting then at 3 months 36cpm then at 6 months 42cpm. And I this is my second week solo off the trainer truck. I don't know crap about TCDS pay but that's what they said.
