I'm here in Denver with the snow storm. So far this morning it's not so bad, yet. I am on a local run from the ConAgra mill in Commerce City down to US Foods in Centennial. Both the local guys were booked so I got it. At first I was upset. I didn't know both the local guys were booked up this morning. Once that was explained to me, I kinda understood . I am getting hourly from shipper arrival to consignee empty call. Then it's off to Budweiser in Fort Collins for a load going to Dodge City, KS. The dispatch lists it as a 2000 pickup with a delivery set for tomorrow. I was mad at that one too. Once again, it, was explained to me that it was already loaded and ready to go. After I got sent both of these loads, I should of been sent a message by either Greg or the load planner explaining both of these loads. I felt I had to talk with Scott for a minute when i went back to the yard to grab a trailer yesterday. He made some phone calls and got the explanations for these loads. All it would of taken was a simple message stating "We need you on this local run. We will pay hourly for it. Your load out of Budweiser is already loaded and ready to go."

 

They were both out and about most of the day yesterday. Except when I was back to grab a trailer around 4pm. One of them just pulled in behind me.

 

I picked up yesterday evening in Fort Collins headed to Carroll ia. Shut down west of Cheyenne at saps bros. woke up this morning and road is closed. Supposed to be in ia on Wednesday for delivery and hometime Friday.

 

Back at Amarillo Budweiser this morning and saw all of the FRE trucks that I left here yesterday at noon.
I guess no one got worked in after all. Planning is probably still double checking on their delivery times...

 

I did get a load yrsterday...don't know when it was sent...
They claim they sent it before I really got it.......
Felix Called me at like 11p and (Re)Sent the PPLN.
Didn't pick it up last night, since he woke me up and I only had 2h anyway.

Broker isn't very Happy about that...oh well.
From Cincy to Sugar Creek Mo (by Independence) original del is 2p today.
Guess it's getting rescheduled lol.

 

Change in plans as my pre plan just got cancelled. So I am standing by to stand by....
