I assume you're working with JEF for the plants. If not, check them. As for parking, there is a place on 27 on the way out of Miami, which is also close to the way you will go for your plants. I believe it's a pilot now. You have to pay for parking, but it is well lighted and about as secure as you could hope for around there, with a fence around it. I stay there all the time when I lay over in the area.
Here is the address;
Sunshine Plaza South Florida
12200 NW South River Dr, Medley, Fl
Hope this helps.
By the way, JEF has 9 plant loads posted at this time. -
Thx for the info... Just checked those plant loads, but we wont del this load til 11th. Hopefully they will have one for us. How much.is that pilot and is it free if u buy fuel?
-
Don't know about that. I never fueled there. I stick to T/A and Petro for fuel. I do know it's a nice lot, with all angle back in parking, easy to get into and out of.
-
So do u make more $$ latbed then aa&e? Wr are debating on which way to go with LS... Obviously gotta pick something to make more $$ then jyst running load boards.
-
I had to stop A&E when my husband retired. A&E went way down, by that time, anyhow and we only had a 48 foot van. Sold the van and drom box and I bought a 48 foot, straight flatbed. I find loads that do pay pretty darn decent and I don't do any oversize. Most of my freight is off the loadboard.
-
What is ave pay for A&E loads now? Anyone know? Can u use company van or do u need a special one?
-
Does ls issue equipment to new bco flatbedders deducting the cost weekly or does it have to be purchased up front?
