I believe Kentucky was using Norpass, also. Norpass and Prepass are two different, competing companies. Now, we also have Drivewise entering the market, to confuse it more.

This morning I got a green prepass signal at the scale west of Atlanta on 20EB but the sign said truck must exit. I kept going. Another time I got a red light but the sign said ok to bypass. I kept going then too. Nobody came after me then or this morning.

KY either switched to Prepass completely or they are using both now.

I believe Prepass is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit. I've never really understood why that is.

Tonight going W on 70 in Mo, Forristel Scale, when I first approached the Scale from Ways out it said OPEN.

Went under the Prepass, got the Red Light....Just before I got to the Sign they changed it to CLOSED.
    So......kept rolling...never got pulled over...so don't know.

Prepass red light means obey scale signage, just like not having prepass.

What did you do before Prepass? If the scale sign says CLOSED, go on by, right? No mystery.
