Lantern, were you going South today on 65? I saw a truck that looked like yours around the 215.

That was my experience when I was at Roehl also. It must be that way all over because the company I am with now has the same types of problems. Things like air hoses rubbing together and under inflated tires are easy finds and fixes, yet many drivers don't or won't get under the trlr to look. When they get popped on an inspection things might change.

Nice to hear that there is another driver that feels that getting equipment repaired instead of passing it on is important. It seems to run in streaks for me. I can have 8 flat tires/issues in a row then I will go through a quiet period with nothing found. A tire that was left for me on a drop and hook on Christmas Eve 2011 still irks me to this day. That was a night from hell trying to find anyone to swap out a tire that was so bad it should have been swapped out weeks earlier. And how many drivers did that trailer go through before it got to me???

Personally, I leave Gary at 0400 to go through Chicago that route, because it still gets clustered at 55, 290 change, plus then you have Milwaukee after.

I think a great majority of drivers don't do much, if any, pretrip. at least that's what it seems to me at every T/S when I seem to be the only guy who opens the hood and gets under the trailer. I see many who seem to wake up, start up, and drive off. on topic...I am finally home! ordering a crapload of parts for the ol' CJ5 and planning on devastating the Milford,NH area sushi supply! off till Monday stay safe you crazy roehlies! :)
