Ontario and Quebec regs

    Can someone give me length restrictions for tractor wheelbase and overall length in both Ontario and Quebec if there are any....thanks.

    I can tell you for sure the law in Ontario. Not sure about Quebec or any of the other provinces.
    Ontario: max length tractor while pulling 53' = 282" This is a recent change up from 244" to allow for apu's and emissions equipment. If you are pulling a 48' then there is no length limit on tractor, however the total length of vehicle applies and is 75'6". This is measured from the bumper on your truck to the back of your trailer. The trailer tails are not legal here. I believe if you get caught using it they will give you an over length trailer ticket.

    Oh and don't forget to have your max speed and max cruise speed at 65 mph. You can have your driver rewards activated and you can get by with that, but don't get caught doing more than 65. It will not end well for you.
