Yeah. It was out so we went on the road. Was very interesting. My first time pulling a 53'er was in the crappy weather. All these small roads with trees down and no working signals

Supposed to launch out yesterday but never received a call about my launch out load. So this morning my fm calls at 735 says was I aware of 800 p/u. I said no and I'd get going. Get to the shipper and he says to call him. So while being loaded he says I get a service failure for not being available a 7 am launch out time. I said someone should've called me the night b4 or earlier this morning so I could've planned for it. My old fm I never had this problem. New fm said I should've went to my truck at 7 am and waited for a load hence being available. I told him that ill never do that, he said do it or I could get disciplinary action or even terminated. I said go ahead do what u gotta do. That I have the experience to go to a better company, do what I'm told and do everything roehl wants me to do that his threats fall on deaf ears, that a simple phone call previous night or even at 700 when he gets to work I could've at least had a better shot of picking up when the wanted me to. I'm not going to scramble and make a mad dash to cover his mistake so he basically pinned it on me the driver. I hope he takes this further bc I'd like to talk to his boss probably will anyway. Calls me at 734 for 800 pick up and doesn't even send me preplan, load assign, routing etc till 755. Yeah ok nice try. Plus yesterday I'd be sitting in my truck across the street all day til evening to never receive and preplan instead of spending another day with my daughter or family. For last 1 1/2 yrs always either from my fm, someone else's fm told me the night b4 or first thing in the morning about launch load out. He messed up and basically pinning it on me. Need another fm or my fists will meet his face very soon.

BUT
I always call the day before if my FM doesn't call to make sure. I don't risk it, but then again 90% of the time he calls anyway to let me know.coopnp Thanks this. -

Yeah, so far fm has always called night before. I'm not going to the truck for no reason. Like waiting for the cable guy.

I'm an hour drive from the truck so I only go after they get me a load. They've ask me to call the afternoon before, but have always called me first...so far.
