I spoke to a recruiter in Mn., and he said the nice thing about buying Motor West is if you live on the west coast, you can run around on the west coast and also grab some loads going east too to break up the monotony.

Yeah, I've been seeing Idaho base plates on our trucks and seeing them in Florida, so you guys definitely run east if you want.

After 5 1/2 years, I left Lessors. Sorry JohnBoy, we did this at the same time! I quit on Sunday. As much as I loved it, I hated it too. And it got to the point where I didn't care anymore. I was sick to death of Lessors. I was sick of what would never change, the insurance debacle, the nickle and dime charging for com check authorizations, the charging for trip Pak at $364 a year, especially when you turn it in at the yards a lot. I'm sorry, enough is enough. Sure, you can say it will change, but it won't. It won't because there is money to be made off of it. Lessors Inc is not a bad company, for what it is. They do have miles. They do pay you. They don't have 60 mph trucks, they do give raises. But, when you go home, its almost like you're punished for doing so. They will take that garbage insurance you pay a lot for (and covers nothing) away from you if you're not dispatched 9250 miles a month. Hey, that's not a lot of miles, but when you have people stuck in certain triangles, they aren't making that. Then they'll take your vacation pay and not give you a raise, consider you part time. I was never considered part time, but its not fair.

The people in the Minnesota office are decent people, as well as the (mainly new) Florida operations. They got rid of the worthless lazy scum that inhabited that dispatch office with the exemption of Jim, he can take his attitude and shove it. I left because I want a life. I don't want to be punished for wanting to go home. I want health insurance and I'm tired of paying for their paperwork. BS. I've been there for 5 1/2 years, and made good friends in that company. I didn't want to leave, because of them. But I had to, because I wasn't happy. You're tired of losing drivers? Get some ###### Insurance that is actually worth having and stop taking it when you fail to get a driver miles. The only person you're doing a favor for is yourselves. Stop charging us to turn your paperwork in, and then make a profit off of it. What the hell is that????

Lastly, the final straw was talking to one of the ladies in the office, joking how your wife takes all the cash, and Wendy gives a snide remark and made me try to feel like crap. Hey Wendy, you're not better than me. Or anyone else. You live that life you live because of us, working for your husband. You're not better than me. Not by a ###### mile.

Lessors had what it takes to be a great company. But things have to change. And I'm afraid they won't. So with that, I'm done. Just like they take it personally when something doesn't go their way, I am too. I'm done. Along with every other good driver that continues to leave. I'm going to do something you hate. I'm going home. And I'm not coming back.

Well put. I'll be doing the same thing coming up in a couple of months. Not because I want to, but because I have to. Where is the journey taking you?
