Heading to Prime orientation... someday...

Congrats! I've been following your posting for a while, glad to hear they have cleared the way!

A word of caution. It is truly a gamble that even two men who are complete strangers, can get along in such a confined space for such long periods of time, I can't imagine the odds of that working with a gal and male trucker.
I learned quickly that there are just so many differences in personality, grooming habits, not to mention just their personal character, morals and points of view. I've only been out on the road with my Instructor and I'm already ready to strangle him. He's a slob when it comes to personal hygiene and insists on preaching "the world according to him" for every question I ask. It is what it is, but I just wanted to give you some heads up in case you have some other illusions as to how it might go.

Good Luck to you! I think the Prime training program can work, but it requires both active participation on your part and your trainer to put his "training hat on" rather than just think like a trucker.

 

Ms Jamie....I noticed you've noted your a CA escapee...heheheh...where in CA you from? Can you share with me the secret to how you escaped? I'm still in prison here....hehehe.

 

Did they ever set you up with a start date?

Yeah that is a fun packet to fill out. Now your Tuesday will be filled with an early orientation, waiting to get your interview, then more waiting to pee in the cup, then more waiting to do your physical which is split up in two parts. biggest tip is don't lie about anything and don't be late to any classes.
