Can I be forced to move my truck during my 10 hour if both my 11 and 14 are out of hours. To my knowledge that can only happen if I present a danger to those around me or if the safety of myself and my. equipment is in jeopardy.

If a DOT forced you to move then yes you hve to move.I was parked at a weigh starion in VA because I was out of hrs with Werner.A dot asked me to move only this DOT took me to a convenience store big enough for 2 trks.He blocked the traffic so I could back into the spot. Its not everyday you meet a nice officer.

If you're violating a law, and the RO wants you to move, you'll move. Either via the ignition key, or tow truck.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

If on private propriety , the owner can request you move! He can not force you to move, but law enforcement can ticket or arrest then tow. But no one can make you do anything you don't want to do.

The Challenger and MNdriver Thank this.

Having your truck impounded, and being arrested is being "made to do something you don't want to do". :biggrin_25525:

Parked on my private property and you think you do not have to move?

Enjoy the time in jail and tow bill.
