Good day to everyone, figured I would give a quick update. This is the last week of school, and im feeling really really confident, especially after today, have to love flawless runs, we can pick the dificulty of the courses we take now also, I always go for the hardest ones so I can get my moneys worth out of school. By the way other guys are driving still im worried some wont pass, but then again trucking is not for everyone. everything is setup and backgrounds all done and all of that for Systems transport(flatbed side of twt). I wont be going to orientation next week but the week after

you will learn in flatbed that rarely will you every bump a dock especially at system we dont bump docks ever. but hey thats great that you r doing well. You wil lfind that once you are on your own there will be days where you cant shift or back up and ther will be days where you feel like youve been driving for 30 years. good luck this is a very well run company and i think you will be happy here.

So another update for anyone interested, I did the schools final tests, for preinspection, backing, and driving, got a 96%, wish I did better but still pretty good, top of the class. Also did something I didnt think I would do, did a 1 shot no pull up backing from a 90 degree, so that made my day end really well, tomorrow is the 3rd party tester for my actual license, I cannot wait to be done! Swift came in today to give there recruitment speech, have to admit they are good at blowing smoke up peoples ##### im glad I found this site to stay very clear of them, still plan on joining on with System in a little over a week. Anyways hope you have had a great week, stay safe out there.

Great job. Keep us posted on System, not too much on here about them. I've already contacted them about my move to Portland and they sound like a great place to work. I'm looking to give skateboarding a try as I miss the physical activity of high school/college football.

Hello everyone, I passed with flying colors and have my license!! Now the real adventure begins, I will keep updating how orientation and training goes, and of course when I finally get my own truck. Hopefully I come across some of you out there at truck stops or wherever, thanks for all the info and help you guys have given me on the couple threads ive made and PM's, very much appreciated.

Congrats, the hardest part is over in my opinion. Now on to the fun part, all the learning you'll be doing. Keep up the good work driver.
