IL Driver Killed in WI after Wreck/Load Shift

    The load probably came ahead into the cab with the sudden stop from hitting the tree. I drive that road pretty often, 4 times since Saturday morning.

    I don't remember seeing anything.

    the load came thru cab after he hit tree and no skid marks usually means not conscious not asleep.and its amazing what expertise you have after 4 years.and in end it was his fault not companys

    You have to consider poor business practices and negligence fault also. None of us have enough facts to adequately place blame, nor should we. The important thing to take away from this is that a tragic accident happened and a driver lost his life. It's important to do everything in your power to make sure that you're being safe.

    There is a picture and description down a few articles, that is one tough tree, I drove by it again today looking for a sign of the accident and saw nothing.



    The county road intersects with US 18 and runs through the small town and a turns off on the other side of town from either direction, The speed limit through the town is 45, and the curves aren't that sharp.

    Why is that little bit of information almost always included? I mean do they think that he might have survived if he had been wearing his seat-belt? I can understand that it would be pertinent information in crashes where occupants are ejected, but not in this case.

    My condolences to the driver's family.

    condo cruiser that info is easily accessible on the saferweb site under company snap shot in the sms section you can even see the vehicle info that got the violation and the state and date that it occurred.
