Gay Friendly Trainer

marriage matters, focus on the family, etc. -- the only difference they wish to prevent loving adults from marrying. 'gay rights' groups just want the same benefits/protections -- not to exclude.

Never heard a guy say he was going to call his wife, girlfriend, etc? Never had one say 'check out the xyz on her!'?

 

Ok can't resist.... what will happen when the trainer gets on your case for forgetting to check if the pin is locked? Lets say he is yelling at you to drive the point home because you forget numerous times... are you going to claim he is hateful towards you? He/she just maybe trying to thoroughly train you and yelling/talking loudly is part of their training practices... My suggestion is this~~ go to a gay message board and ask them for guidance there may be a trucker there that has been through this situation and can give you better advice than anyone here... superpet39 Not that he is a minority or victim! he like thousands of people in this country, mostly young students are being made a victim group. There are being told that this country, gays are 80% of the population and this is a normal lifestyle and they come out to the real world and reality hits them! they are not the majority in this country, the powers at be know that if they gather enough of these people, they will give their rights as long that they get what ever they are asking for! Nobody is mistreating anybody! you dont see gays being tied to a rope behind a truck and dragged all over the highway!

 

Government has no business in marriage. Should be no benefits to being marred! You want equal rights? Get government out of it. I hate to respond to double yellows tip toe political post.

 

I would just prepare yourself for being paired up with someone who's an ###. I'm not gay, but I'm preparing myself for the worst, because I'm going to be there to learn to drive and that's it. I'll put up with whatever ignorant BS the trainer spouts if that will get me a truck in the end. Those people are out there and there's no sense in trying to avoid them. Picking on you is one thing, but sharing bigoted views whether you want to hear it or not is a small price to pay to get on the road in my opinion. You aren't there to have fun, and it's probably not going to be fun whether you get a nice trainer or not. I would just try your luck with a trainer. It's not worth delaying your career because you don't like what some moron has to say about your lifestyle.

 

This is hostile in my opinion. Your views are just as ignorant. His potential views are ignorant just because you don't like them. You are going to have a hard road through life with that attitude.

What are you talking about? That didn't make any sense. There's a difference between ignorance and simply disagreeing with a valid opinion. I never said anyone who disagrees with you is ignorant. My point is that if you prepare yourself for a potentially tough time, you won't be caught off guard and suddenly think you made a bad decision. It's good to be mentally prepared for anything is all.
