Scarecrow, does KLLM hire rookies out of school... or do they require some experience?

Yes, they hire rookies right out of school, and they have a tuition reimbursement program as well.

How does the reimburesement work? Work so long then lump sum or monthly....taxable or not???? Also do they still pay HHG miles? Looking to join them and any recent info would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

You have to work there for a year before they reimburse you. I don't know if it's lump sum or monthly. I believe they recently (within the past year) changed to paying practical miles (PC Miler).

Thanks.....the possibility of having practical miles is a big plus although their web site still indicates HHG miles. Guess I'll know soon enough. I'm expecting a call from them any moment. I'll let you know what they tell me.

Don't worry man. I was just going through some of my pay stubs from there earlier while looking for something else. In just shy of two months I made over $7500 with 'em. I grossed over $4000 in January of last year. You'll be fine there.

WOW, they pay practical and not hub? That is pretty cool.

Actually that has changed. Once you upgrade, they pay $150 a month ($37.50 a week) for reimbursement. I believe, but don't know for sure, that at your one year mark they pay out the remainder in a lump sum.

    Hey KLLM drivers, quick question:

How many miles are you averaging per week this time of year? I'm on the west coast but want to know averages from West Coast and East Coast because I'll be moving to NC soon.
