Fast Forward 3 months..............OMG JR Schugel screwed me over I thought I had it all figured out.
Every company has good and bad drive at least a week before you think you have all the right answers. -

Use your chain of command and talk with the operations supervisor. Not all personalities clash.
Good things don't happen overnight. A dispatcher likes someone that is easy going and does the job without complaining and gets the job done right. They see that and then they start treating you better. If you give one a hard time they will return the favor.
I've seen too many times one little problem snowball into many because of attitudes. But then again they make bad dispatchers too. -
Sounds like you two are banging heads. She treats you like a kid, and you treat her like an idiot. You say she sucks and she is micromanaging you. Are you making money? If you're making money, put up with the micromanaging.
Lots of drivers hate my FM. They say she does the same thing. I must admit, the girl is pushy and extremely tenacious. I can use that to my advantage. How so? One side of the spectrum, you have an FM that wants to micromanage. On the other side of the spectrum, you have the FM that NEVER answers the phone without you holding for 45 minutes. I will take the micromanager. She always shows up for work. She's always beating the bushes for a load. Some guys don't like being pushed hard. I run hard so she really can't push me. She doesn't call me, I call her," I will be unloading at xx hour, what loads do you have in the area?" She instantly starts beating the bushes for a load. A preload. I come out ahead.
Everyone is different, but I can use a pushy FM to line my pockets. -
Se heres the problem..i run..no bs,,when i can..she has me sit,,to much..i get done with a load every tym no pre plan.so i sit waiting..then this stupid system they hv , wait for directions..that i cant stand..let me grab my map..but this is how they do it,ok..as fo miles. Im staying between.1800,2200 i know alot people ate not even getting that..im use to running alot harder.and also i just came off of hand unloading 53 ft famy dollor trailers..on dedicated,,soim ready..lol..i feel my fm is over welmed she is new..im not....

With a major carrier with over 2000 trucks that don't haul there own freight be lucky ur getting 2200..

it takes a year just to get your feet wet
most of a year to figure out how to manipulate any companies system to your advantage
allow a company to micromanage you you will become the drone they want you to be
i have had 2 different FM's
first we were always in synch
2nd not so much but we have to learn together or butt heads constantly
so i deliver every load early and let her figure it out
she says pete quit delivering early i say ok
delivered next load 26 hours early

If you can't take it no more just make a move and i am about to make a move because i drive for big blue and they give me 8 loads in one day and all of them were cancelled so i spend all my hours in deadhead. They are all the same try epes, watsontown trucking.
