My fm,sucks

The big deal with me is . How does the fm treat me personally are they nice and easy too get along with past that they don't have have a lot of control over the loads they are given to cover each week you will get crap runs and have bad days driving a truck how you handle those days can either make a very good impression on your bosses or a bad one the better you deal with the bad days the more they will try and make up for it with good runs .

 

You get the shaft because you don't like her and she knows it.Not everyone can get along with their dispatcher.I have had to change dispatchers a time or 2.Talk to your fms boss.

my fm yelling at me but i didn't say nothing because i don't want them to mess with my dac, i keep my mouth shut and make a move if i don't like it. I pass 7 fm with big blue and what i have seen is that if they had a bad night at home you will be responsible for it, sounds stupid but its true ask werner drivers.

 

If I get a fm that's just an out and out jerk or is lazy that's when I go to the bosses you will run into those kinds of people I have not had those problems were I work now though .

 

It's a no win situation in trucking isn't it.Some are happy you get load delivered early and you are now their best driver.Then some you are now their worst driver.It's like you're ###### if you do and ###### if you don't.

 

The problem with delivering early without communication is that the planners wont know you're coming in because your ETA/PTA hasn't updated. In that case they may be booking a load for you for much later than you'll actually be available. Depending on the customer you may have to wait for the load that was booked. To ease the tension it's probably a good idea to be upfront about when you plan on delivering instead of just showing up early and dropping an empty call.

 

with big blue i think they are their own boss because everytime you call driver relations they will be like okay we will call you back and they wouldn't. The last time i called the guy who answered me is a fleet manager because i know him.

 

I didn't know you were referring to Werner. If I had known it was a Werner FM that you were referring to, I wouldn't have responded to this thread. I feel so used and misled.
