Not if I can not pass in about a min , will back off and fall back in line. And if being passed and see he/she is taking to long , will lift , if not break some so they can get by. It's the professional thing to do( cost me 45 sec ? ) . Learned respect a long time ago. And cowboys who think they can push me out of the way , are wrong. We have all seen tailgaters with in three feet of what ever is in front of them . Real pros !

You could also call one inconsiderate and self centered to not have patience enough to wait their turn to pass. If you are in that big a hurry, you should have left sooner. Very poor trip planning to not allow for slower traffic and delays.

do safety managers program you with these talking points, wind you up, then send you amongst the masses to spread their message?

i do leave with enough time always, i dont drive in a rush

is this your rationale for blocking the middle and left lanes, impeding the flow of traffic and breaking the law?

The law needs to enforce no convoys and impeding the flow of traffic and it would solve alot of the problem with 5-10 slow trucks jamming up the roads.
It has nothing to do with trip planing when its a 4 lane highway 2 in each direction and a pile of slow trucks going .5 mph faster then the other blocks it for miles.

Back on topic, if that is OK with you all.

4.75 from Salina to Denver. Tried different speeds and consistently got the best mpg at 62.

    I really, really hate headwinds.

    its not offtopic

i am all for guys doing whatever they need to do do maximize their fuel mileage

they can drive as slow as they want

but they should not impede the flow of traffic while doing so

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1365995942.153921.jpg 6-12 inches of snow plus

    snow getting stuck to everything

4.5 MPG. 400 miles of this.

I'd only I had low RR tires, air tabs, micro blue and a fleet air filter..

Problem with that is so much of traffic feels that the speed limit is the starting point and not what it is.... the limit. No matter what someone does, anymore they are going to be slower than everyone else if they are not also going faster than the speed limit. So, some of us feel that we might as well run the speed that is the most efficient and forget everyone else because no matter what we do, there will be a batch of folks that are ticked we are not running as fast as they are.
