Finally things stabilized at home after 2 1/2 months off the road caring for my elderly mother. I was able to return to work last Fri. On 2nd load. Sitting in SC on I-77 north of Columbia in a very small (quiet) BP heading for Pittsburg for a Tues del. Nice easy light load to get back into the swing of things.

Come on now. I guess I would want to hear the other side of the story before commenting. We all know how cheap Roehl can be. They will do all they can to weasel out of paying $5 in detention pay. I am surprised there are any union guys there in the first place. I know I used to get pretty irritated at union guys when they were slow loading or unloading my truck. I also know that I now make a lot better money, have better and a lot cheaper insurance, and a lot better retirement than I had at Roehl.

Get real. There aren't even that many unions around anymore. The more the unions have declined so has the middle class incomes. If it keeps going the way it is going we will all be slaves working for a few really wealthy people.

You have that right to think and believe what you do. I do not want to work for an entity that 'tells' me I'm getting screwed and that I must strike and not work if I feel differently; let alone pay dues so they can line their pockets, and support political ideals I do not agree with.
