Maybe, but who knows what will happen? It all depends on what the FBI and IRS finds and what they do with that evidence.

 

I haven't been driving as long as a lot of people...BUT.. I do prefer pilot/loves over any other trk stops because they are just managed better in most every way possible.. pilot has grown to be more than twice the size of ta because they do what they do a lot better and at a better price while updating their showers and remodeling their buildings. if I were sitting around most of the time and liked spending a lot of time sleeping in nasty truckstop chairs I would probably go to a ta, but until then I will stick with pilot.

truckstops have improved because of competition brought from loves/pilot (they have similar business models). ta's business model isn't viable, they only own TWO of all of their truckstops according to their annual statement available on their website.

 

at the loves/pilot, as you are waiting for a shower, what amenities do they provide?

how about when its too hot or cold outside, where can you cool off without idling?

 

This has nothing to do with the Company, per se. It is about one of the Owner's and his shady dealings with an NFL franchise and Governor's race.

it's more fun to guess what's going on and trash a business/person needlessly and for whatever fear/craziness we can devise. right, wrong or indifferent.

 

picture below is what happens when your parked on the end at pilot. I seen it more than one time. Flying before buyout was best priced big T/S chain. Now that the new has worn off pilot's buyout we're seeing prices increase. No pilot I know of has a tv room only old J's pilot barely has a place to sit while waiting on one of their, as you say"clean" showers. Pilot is turning the truckstop industry in to just
another Mc donald's chain. It was mentioned 30 years ago truckstops had dirt parking lots well I seen some pilotj's with lot's not much better now days.
Pilot sucks and always has since my first otr trip I've hated pilot.
