I upload my logs from the qualcom site to a google drive account monthly. I can access them from any computer or smart phone. If my truck qualcom goes down I can get the last 7 days the same way and roll on paper.
Daily logs.....

This is what I do for my husband, also. Well, I use dropbox, but you get the idea. I can fax him what he needs anywhere that has a fax machine or email access at a moments notice.

A fax machine,, so you need somebody else to get around to doing something for you? Way to much trouble to deal with,

Loose leaf carbonless JJ Keller logs are the only way to go.
Get yourself the three ring binder to go with them. -
computer. only way to go.
logs backed up on one file stored on thumb drive. everything at my disposal. and sometimes i'll email them to myself. they never get lost on the server.
laptop crashes. they are cheap and a dime a dozen. buy new one. download my email. nothing lost.

smaller companies take the stress out of the trucking industry. at least for me.
carbonless is easier. have been mornings I've put the carbon in backwards. lol oops. -
My company provides them for us. They have the specific bar codes so trip pak knows where to send the scan. No cover sheet needed.

No, If the elog fails you keep paper until it works again. If the data prom previous logs is lost, they are responsible, not you. Its also a pain to keep both because paper rounds to nearest 15 while elog is to the min. In any case no need to keep paper back ups while on elogs. Companies like qualcome offer elogs and have several backups made.
