Just remeber that there are other expenses besides just fixing it up such as fuel till the checks start rolling in, taxes (2290, etc.) and plates, but Im sure that you knew all that already. Good luck and update us on the truck and what you do to it, BTW 86 wasnt such a bad yearthats when I was born lol yea I know Im young.

We owned two of the numbered 87 359's. I love those trucks I honestly fel they are the best truck ever built. They may not be the smoothest ride with no air ride cab like the new ones but they handle better than any 379 ever has.
I know all to well about the costs involved. It's been 10 years since I owned any trucks but my memory isn't quite THAT bad.

I won the truck. wether or not I "get" it I won't know for sure untill I go pick it up. If it isn't what was described I will run for the plane.

I spoke to Landstar today an they are waiting on my MVR right now. I only turned it in on tuesday and we all know they are not fast. I'm also needing to talk to a co in houston I know of who runs flatbes back and forth between houston and mobile AL.

don't mind, it's on ebay for everyone to see. $5100 it's in FL. I am checking on what I need to transort it now. It got to be 5p, so all the offices are closed so I'm just collecting phone numbers now. TX has a "one trip" permit which covers me if I'm unloaded and if I start or finish in TX but I have to check with the other states to make sure they cover it. Otherwise i'l be running through the swamps all the way back.

Hope it's as nice as it loos and sounds to be. Got to loose that nasty ol freightliner steering wheel though. ..... no offense, lol
