Hogan??

Appreciate that , I expect theres going to a few too. I guess this is were my Conway training kicks in lol
I do have a quick question, Were exactly is this greyhound going to drop me at, was curious how close hogan was to the bus terminal.hey thanks again for the help

 

well i dont know that answer lol i live like 8 miles from the terminal in earth city. if you go to the downtown bus station its like 20 miles away from the terminal idk all the places that greydog drops at though i do know that the hotel they use is off of 270 at st charles rock road and theres a shuttle to get you to the office in the mornings

 

I thought id give it a shot , Never been to Stl not sure what to expect i guess as long as theres a shuttle waiting thats cool i just dont want be hanging out at a bus tetminal all night !

I have a few questions. Ive been cleared to come over for dollar general. I just want some hometime weekly and a carrier close to home incase i need to resign. I was hoping someone could answer a few questions.

1. How will the dg orientation work? I was told i would do a ride along for a day or so and then run my own ship. Is this true and what states does fulton mo service?

2. What are the benefits with hogan and how do holidays work? I have anotyer job lined up with 6 oaid holidays but a very vague "home weekly" hometime.. So im trying to decide.

3. Are weekends 48hr or 34 resets?

4. How long does orientation last and what kind of wellness or physical do you go through at hogan? Any sleep apnea testing?

 

i can answer the last thing the orientation lasted 3-4 days depending on size of group. physical was the standard one nothing really odd. i did the step up and down for a amount of time. carried something down the room and back and put it on a shelf. whisper test, eye test,grip test, color blind test. never got asked any sleep related questions nor did i have a neck measurement.

my weekends were 34 hrs when i took one that is i chose to work them as i got longer runs that way.

i know very little about the dg accounts except that you unload the truck and there parking lots suck to try to move a truck around in

 

I appreciate it. The recruiter didnt get ahold of my today.. So sadly, it doesnt look like ill be working here, as i need to work asap and had two companies lined up. I really wanted the exercise and small town deliveries but no harm no foul. Sounds like a good company and ill keep them stored away for a later day!
