I normally fuel, shower, and used to eat at the Petro's and T/A's, but the food has gotten so nasty I'm going to put in a micro and fridge in my truck.

Some of the Petro's smell of urine (Hammond, LA) and many T/A's are surrounded by a chain link fence that is covered in trash.

The Wilco's are always clean, but I never noticed showers.

It looks like the search warrants were in regards to nonpayment of fuel rebates to some fleets:

This seems to me to be a monopoly favoring big trucking companies anyway. The bigger companies are supposed to get the rebates. But how about the smaller companies and one to five truck fleets? Thoughts?

 

Unless someone has started a thread elsewhere I'm surprised no one has commented on the raid at the Pilot/Flying J headquarters.

I am curious why the IRS is involved and why it is a criminal investigation. I know larger companies get a huge discount, if Pilot isn't paying what has been contracted I would think it would be a civil matter. I'm sure there is much more to the story than what is being reported.

 

I just had a most excellent ball park dog and 20oz fountain at kangaroo express i75 mcdonough ga fot $1.50. Im workin not much time to sit down for a steak dinner. Wayy better than pilot/fj

 

Or for .50 or a 1.00 more you get two hot dogs had that a bunch of times.

 

Meh, seems like just volume discounts to me, no different than many businesses provide. As the saying goes, Size Does Matter.
