Yea the newer truck with all the emissions have nothing but problems. and Volvo should make better/bigger engines for these trucks. YRC is gettting rid of all our good pulling trucks for the volvos

oh yea forgot we had some old internationals, they are rare but awesome at pulling

Our new white volvos actually pull better than the old freightliners, and old internationals. It says 425hp on the door so maybe our new ones this year will have the same motor. The older orange volvos are gutless pigs.

Nope our white Volvos are still gutless. They look brand new on the outside but the inside looks like an old yellow/roadway tractor. I'll take our internationals, sterlings and freight shakers over them anyday.

Heck I wish they still had the 835 roadways, they were beasts, or maybe a triples tractor

The white volvos are nice as in ride and new interior but I think the old Freightliners still pull better. I got an international been a pretty good truck.

The new Volvo's are leased from Ryder so that may be why they have bigger better engines.

I like the Volvo's better. Only because of the smoother ride since the Los Angeles area and Sacramento can't build a decent highway. Some of these highways out here will shake your teeth loose!

Seems to be. I wish they would hire more down here so I can have a break. Actually, we have had 3 different guys come on at different times and all quit in the first week! All of them came from OTR jobs. I got to talk to all 3 of them and they complained how much harder it was working ltl. I agree, especially on the extra board but this is where the money is!

Cool35 I agree the volvos are a much better ride. Maybe because we pull triples is why our white volvos have so much power. I was at 103k the other day and was still passing otr trucks up the hills lol.
