Go to the sirius website. They have some great deals when you buy one with a listener plan. Also if your radio ever stops working, call them up and cancel your subscription. They will route the call to a sales rep who will give you a free radio to keep the account open.

I agree with wsyrob but disagree at the same time. I just bought the XM onyx Dock and Play Radio + car kit, I called the customer service line and ended up getting it for $10 instead of the $40 on the website. I went with the premier plan for $17.99 a month. I did get locked in for a year but thats ok since I have an account in my Jeep already, I just combined the 2.

Have you ever considered internet radio? If you have a smartphone you should try Pandora. Pandora is free and it's tons better that Sirius/XM. Just try it and see for your self and you will wonder why you ever considered satellite radio in the first place. Just how many trucks do you still see on the road with satellite radio antennas?

That's the one they sent me for free.

I paid 79 dollars for my oynx with dock and kit at best buys guess I got ripped of. but im not locked in a contract but will probably keep service like I was in one

I like the talk radio and sports stations. How much data does Pandora use streaming for 14 hours a day? I listen to it at home some but bet it would cost as much or more in data fees on the phone. Its also a no no and $2750 fine to mess with a smart phone while driving.TruckerPete1990 Thanks this.

I went to best buy first and said no way in hell am I paying $80 for something I saw for $40 online. I then went over to Frys (an electronics store on the west coast) and they had the units for $50. I only called CS because I was trying to combine my Jeep with a new unit online. Thats when the guy offered me the same thing for $10, I added my Jeep and now pay about $25 for both this one and my Jeep.

Thanks was looking at them on site and gonna call 2moro when i get paid and see what type of deal i can work out with em

do i need one of those big antennas i see or can that small square one work good? -
Pandora on the Web plays 64k AAC+ for free listeners and 192kbps for Pandora One subscribers. so 1048576 Kb = 1GB so youre looking at about 190,000 kbps in a 14 hour day? Roughly 5.5 days for one gig? This is if my math is right. This would be for the free not paid
