Its not the only thing I listen to, I also listen to Howard, NHL and Nascar. Right now since Im in school I have a limited amount of time to listen. Im doing all I can to absorb as much info about this industry right now so it pretty much stays on Road Dog.

Pandora is not better than XM by a long shot.... Content on Pandora is no match at all for Sirius/XM, Does pandora have any talk shows, trucker shows, weather and traffic, sports?? any worthwhile content besides music?? What about when you dont have an internet connection or you go over your allotted bandwidth and your charged by the gig? XM is tax deductible also....Tons better LOL LOL

ps i have 50k shares of SIRI so im kinda biased, sry bout that hehe

Pandora also has very irritating ads that blast out the speakers.. nowhere near as good of content. If I want something specific, I have my 80 gig mp3 player. SiriusXm is well worth the money and hands down better than a spotty internet radio crap. Been a subscriber for 6-7 years and don't regret it one bit. As far as the small antenna goes, it works fine most times but you never miss a beat with the trucker antenna.

I got the starmate from TA. Really, same stuff you can buy at Walmart for cheaper but, Bleh. The magnetized antenna might be good for truck not made from Mattel or out of soda cans, but if you got a toy truck, the antenna at the TS is good since you can mount it on the mirror. You can get special mounts for cascadias from cb shops to mount it on. I used the antenna that came with the radio but I had to buy a double sided adhesive pad. Needless to say, it had melted to the truck. Permanent solution but when time to change trucks pain to remove haha.

Also, Pandora is not free. Unless you got unlimited data, it uses your data. Which you pay for. I recon 11 hours of streaming to be around 377 megabytes. In one month, that's 11.3 gb. That's not including any downloads, web surfing. Or YouTube videos you might watch. With Verizon and a 4G LTE device, that's over 200 a month just to listen to music. No thanks. It cost a pretty penny over 3g too, I'm sure, unless you are with straight talk or similar. I got in on a 6 mo promo with Sirius, only paid 31 for 6 months. That's a lot cheaper.

Lets do some math here on data usage. An hour of streaming music over data is 40 gb. A month will cost you 12 gb. That's a lot of money no matter who you are with. I am with Verizon and 12 gb plan is about $150 a month. That's not including tax. Heck, 12 gb is only enough to cover streaming music. YouTube videos and app downloads can also he costly, so to make sure you don't pay overage charges yours need a 14 plan that's 160 without taxes. If you like to watch a lot of videos too...well, you probabbly better get the 16 gb plan which is 170. I'd hate to be your parents.

I have 5 lines on my acct. I use around 10 million kilobytes of data a month by myself. I pay $265 a month for 5 lines, all with unlimited data. Choose your service provider wisely.

I bet your coverage sucks though. Im over the road. I had unlimited everything for $50 a month but anytime i was out west the coverage was very limited, and spotty in the east. can't have that...if I get stuck in the middle of no where gotta have coverage to call for a tow or what not. you get what you pay for. From my experience with current providers, if they offer unlimited data its cause their coverage ain't so great.

On the antenna thing, I bought mine off of Amazon for 30ish (10inch Browning brand). got it in two days. Works awesome, they also had some a little cheaper too. I found that button antenna that comes with them to be a PIA with how often it went out of signal.

I hope you bought those shares when it was .08 cents per/share. That was a deal. Now it's $2.99/share.
