06 379 blinker kills cruise control

I have a good friend I haul equipment with or for and his truck is a 2006 379 with C-15 and 18 speed. When he drives down the road and running his cruise control and turns his right blinker on then it kills the setting on his cruise. Anybody ever had this?

Check the trailer light cord for a short from the right turn wire to the to the brake wire. That is probably the most common place for it to short across but it could be in the tractor tail lamp wiring also.
