What is this tool used for?

What is this tool used for? I always see it at truck stops but am too embarrassed to ask.

 

Its for open deck work. One end (the open end) is for binders and the pointed end is for strap winches on the trailer.

 

It is used to adjust attitudes.

 

I can't get the link to work, tried entering it several ways.

 

This tool is very dangerous. If not used properly, it will knock you down where the sun don't shine.

 

aint that the truth I had a winch lock stick open and I was moving fast and she shoot up and bout knocked me out

 

Its a winch bar for tightening the ratchets for the straps on flatbeds or step decks.

 

if used properly it's a tool for flatbedders. chains and straps.

if not careful, it'll brake your glasses and slice your forehead. and possibly even some teeth.

there's actually 500 pound wonders that can really make them chains TIGHT.

and like most of the post above. they only use theres for security or sanity againt intelligently challenged humans.
