Even if any and everything with J/ Pilot gets shut down, that's way too much real-estate to not be sold off. Whether J/ Pilot shareholders were the one's doing the selling, or the government, if J/ Pilot gets shut down, the old property will be bought up. It's a lot cheaper to sell it to another chain than try to reclaim a property that will undoubtedly take a great deal in reclamation (diesel spillage and what have you), let alone re-development.

But, as you note, it all depends on what is found out about J/ Pilot. This may just end up being a slap on the wrist of J/ Pilot, and the hush-hush tactics are being used to send a message to other companies.

Yeah, but flats can haul bigger loads. Just had to get that in there.

There are some really tiny ones in Ohio; one on 77 and one on 71. There's one on 90 in Cleveland that's smaller than a 7/11. I think the one on 77 has three parking spots.

You know, if only they had done the right thing to start with, give everyone the best deal they could on fuel. Then they wouldn't be in this kind of mess.

 

You should read the article posted in the Cleveland Newspaper. They were allegedly taking Western Express for $450,000/month. A wire worn by a informant got allot of good details. Here is that article:

The way they were talking about their customers is pretty sad. Sales people from Petro/TA & Loves should try to steal some customers.lol
