Idk the chains and #### just look intimidating like its hard to learn but with practice im pretty sure ot comes natural
-
I hear what you're saying, but really, if you decide to go flatbed, they'll train you on all that, & train you well --- well enough that the intimidation factor will be reduced to almost zero. Plenty of other things that'll intimidate a new driver! Trust me, I've just finished only my 4th week out solo. lol (I flatbed with McElroy). From what I've read about TMC, as well as heard from some of their drivers, you'll get plenty of training on the whole chaining/strapping/tarping process.

Its not that bad.
I had no formal training and it scared the heck out of me a few times but there is always a way. Other flatbedders will almost always help you out. -
Where are you going to school, Quil?
-
Im at NETTTS in CT
-
Bridgeport? How do you like it? I was thinking of them.
-
Im at the one in somers ct but its ok my teacher just stretches class a hell of alot telling stories but other than that its a good school I go out in the field after next week is over and start shifting drills and maneuvers
-
Good deal. Best of luck to you.
