It's finding an employer willing to indenture me. Been trying to find one for seven years now. Found one employer but did not get the new contract for his new boom trucks. Have to wait till July and see. Have the experience, just not the ticket. It will happen, perseverance pays off.

Indenture, is that like making false teeth for you.
-
By the time I get indentured, I might just need some false teeth as well.

Where can you obtain the boom/picker ticket?? And how long is the course?
-
Wellhead boom truck is 5 day course an you need 100 hours and one year employment. Boom truck operator is 5 week course like boomtruckin said and you need 1200 hours I think and not sure o employment time? Google it and there is a place in Nisku that offers it, nait also, and you have to register with the apprenticeship board and take an exam. I am still learning about the process to get ticketed.
-
You need an employer to register as an apprentice, which is half the battle.

Hi Pinner. Fresh? Oh yeah! I met him at Master Steaks in Mississauga a couple of days ago. He was handing out business cards for a new company he is building. Fresh and some guy named Guero are running a truck wash in Rosedale.
