Any small dog will do. I've had great success going to an animal shelter and adopting an older dog. They're more settled-down, you already know how big they'll get, and are most likely already house-broken.

Thanks guys, I will defntley wait a few months before I get a dog, was already planning to get one from a shelter, and I already know some family and friends who will give him a good home if it dosebt work out
