At the hucks off exit 95 in mout Vernon IL. Seen one other Roehl truck. Huge lot with plenty of peaking but sucks if your hungry. Everything in the conviently store looks old. Was scared to try the diner. With this many trucks parked and no one eating its a sign.

 

There's a bunch of restaurants within walking distance to that truck stop. Plus a Walmart too. So I don't see why it sucks if you're hungry.

 

jeepnut_nh I just watched the footage and that was a terrible accident. Sorry to hear about the loss!

 

Sittin at another loves off I78 x 23 in PA, deliver in elmsford ny in the morning, still about 150 miles out but its just above nyc and everyone knows that there's no parking around there, so ill be out of here early

 

thanks for the sentiments guys.....still get teary eyed if I dwell on it, first time scince being OTR im upset im not near home.

2:26 left on 70 till Tuesday, 87 mi to con in Pittsburg. GPS says 1:49 to do it...

course I gotta get there, get unloaded, then get out 7000000000miles to the nearest truckstop.

haven't ever been there, and already I think it stinks (or a similar, harsher word)

dispatch says to call it in if im gonna go over.....IF???? lol I told them a good chance ill be out before I get to con....

Depends where in Pittsburgh if on south side got somelaces on 70.

 

There is parking at the Meadowlands Track/casino in Pittsburgh. Turn in main driveway and take immediate right. Courtesy van will pick you up and give you a ride to casino.(you will need to call them)

 

Thanks for info. I delivered about 20 miles up the road this last week. Not much parking in the Pittsburg area. Filed that on in the truck stop book for reference.
