Crudehauler, I would like to ask a few questions if you are willing to answer them.

First is why one year experience, why not new fresh out of school hires?

Clean driving record means a lot of things, how about DUI/DWI in their history?

When you say 26%. can you give an approximate idea what that means in dollars?

How can you make these promises when people are posting here saying there are hundreds of tanker rigs sitting parked up there. The price of oil has gone down. People are saying things are slowing down up there.

I was not going to respond to the top two posts but I guess I will for educational purposes. If you have to ask if a DUI on your MVR is clean well um...... Next! Why 21? If you question the requirements of your prospective employer you won't get far in an interview. Here some reasons because first of all you need to be 21 to hold a interstate CDL! We haul multiple states. Insurance, we haul hazmat, and because I sign the front of the pay checks and I say so. Now I love when a guy that has probably never set foot in North Dakota asks how can I make promises? You read to much into the post I don't remember any promises being made. It's true there are trucks sitting but in Febuary ND broke a record they reached 800000bbls a day production. Now I ask you how is that getting done if everybody sitting on their thumbs? If you are a company like say Deer Valley that was hauling water last year and then bought a ton of equiptment with the hope of putting it to work well what can I tell you. It's a lot deeper than most people know how the oilfield works. Contracts, marketing, shippers, producers.

Well I asked for others on the first two questions, I'm 50 and have years of hazmat hauling experience with ZERO of anything on my MVR for the past 34 years. SO I don't really need to have the answer but the question pops up and having someone trying to recruit people answer it may help others

However the last question is to clarify what that 26% means in real dollar terms. I know that you can't give an exact amount but a general idea of it would help those who are on the fence about going into this. I kept hearing the percentage offers when I went to the oil fields and when I ran the numbers, it was close to what I would make doing something else.

My guys average 2500.00 a week gross. We get paid for chain up. I give that all to driver. We pay wait time. If I get to a lac and there is over an hour wait your getting around $34 hr to sit. If you can make a turn in two hours you are up around 42 hr.

I worked there last year hauling oil and the only job that I saw them hire with a CDL-A and no experience was sand.
