Well, since I have not made any moves to do the air tab thing on this truck, no, I haven't checked to see if there is anything remotely similar to the color of my truck. You could be right, that there probably is something that would come close. With warmer weather now, I may pick up various cans of blue tone paint and see which matches best. Even if I don't do the air tab thing, it would be good to have a matching blue paint on hand.

Ya know, that's not a bad idea at all. From perusing airtab's website, I believe they just come in white plastic and black plastic. I haven't seen anything that indicates they want to paint them. I talked to Freightliner some time ago about "touch-up paint"- they told me that any of their dealer's body shops can match your truck's color via the VIN number, but it's not offered in a spray can.

Iirc the instructions say you can paint them to match your truck or trl, probably test one or two to make sure the paint doesn't react poorly on the plastic. I've painted a few of them with various spray paints and had good results. Was thinking spare cans of matching paint could be handy for touching up bug-hit areas, cowpie beat me to it.

There are paint stores that can mix your paint and then put it in cans for you.

    my roi was 4.3 weeks......

    6480 miles a week @ 6.5mpg = 996.9 gl.
    6480 miles a week @ 6.7mpg = 967.2 gl.
fuel saved per week 29.7 gl. @ $3.75 = $111.37 saved per week
    $480 / $111.37 is 4.3 weeks or 27,864 miles.... not that long

I had the same run for 7 months last year and I put them on about 3 months into to it
