When you get a chance in NLR take the company van over to Hooters for some extra credit!

Finally got moved into my new truck, well new to me lol... 12913. On the positive side, several things work a lot better in this truck than they did in my old one, like the EPU, the Qualcomm, the OnGuard, and the transmission. It's also got one of the DD15 engines instead of the 13, I can definitely feel the difference in pulling power. And it seems to be getting decent mileage, averaged 7.1 from Rogers, AR to Madison via I-44 pulling 41,000, so not too bad.

On the negative side, the drivers side door is quirky about wanting to close properly, and I keep hearing a very loud popping sound under my feet any time I turn the steering wheel one way or another. I told the NLR shop about it and they didn't seem concerned, so I dunno. Also, since they Armor-alled the crap out of the dash, nothing will freaking stick like it did in my old truck, which is insanely frustrating. If I had known they were gonna do that I would've asked them not to.

I'll say it again. Somebody needs to confiscate the Armor All wipes from who ever is cleaning those trucks.

They won't tell you this in orientation but if you wear your name badge and reflective vest into any local bar you will receive special treatment, I think they call it "Southern Hospitality"
No need to thank me, just have fun.

Heading to the Truck shortly. I got my load re-powered over the weekend. I left a note saying “here is what you need to leave me” Would have been there but had to be at the Doctors office.

    8 - Chains and binders
    1 - 4” Strap
    6 - Rubber Edge Protectors
    2 - Steel Protectors
    2 - Coil Pads

Driver left a note saying “ I only had 7 Chains and Binders. So that’s what I got, didn’t leave anything else from the list. Also left me short (1) Steel & (1) Canvas Tarp. Nice Huh!

Man that sucks! Sounds like a Maroon Marauder had his way with your gear. That's nearly a criminal act, call the po po!
