So, go ahead and drive, then when you have a medical problem and zone out and run over someone or have a wreck, all of us will thank you for the incresed regs because you went ahead and drove while not being legal to drive.......

Ya that's exactly what will happen. I've had it since I was a little kid. It's all i've ever known, and I've never had a single problem with it. That's what pisses me off about it the government thinks exactly like that and makes it a huge pain in the ### for everyone with diabetes. We're not all #### heads that don't take care of them selves and get all their limbs cut off. Some people are actually healthy and can tell the instant their blood sugars start to get outside the normal range, well before there is any affect what so ever, like zone out and kill people.

I'm sorry that your health limits you in what you want to do. I came upon two accidents within a month of diabetic drivers passing out behind the wheel, luckily, neither injured anyone, one crossed the centerline, went through a yard and hit a tree, the other hit a guardrail and stopped in the middle of an interstate, passed out with her foot on the brake, car in gear, running......

Going out of state on ag plates you need a CDL and med card. If you travel out of the 150 mile radius you better hope your license says over 21 and you don't have farm tags. They will pen you for that in a heart beat. Going two states over? Forget about it you'll just get your truck impounded and cost your company more money

I know all this cause I'm 19 year old with a class A and med card I got pinned for the 150 mile rule put me out of service and cost me a nice fine after they did a level 2 and impound fees

Ya it kinda sucks but once your 21 you can get a federal exemption. If i want to truck then I can do that but right now i'm just farming and doin what ever to make money tryin to get through school. It sucks that everyone can't stay ontop of their self and do stupid things like that, and make every diabetic look unhealthy. I would'nt say it's my health keeping me from anything. I'm pefectly healthy more so than alot of guys around here over the road.
