Being an experienced freight broker drivers only go to Cali. for one reason! They take a whopping $1.10/mile out there; too get a $1.90 or so to come all the way across. wishing they would have ran to Co, ID..etc, and they could've gotten more money to come to across to the East coast or southeast.

But these "Produce -Gypsie's", that will haul for you until produce comes around in Cali. then dissapear, then call you when produce is over saying " hey man remember me"! No I don't get bent..............

And all you brokers that want to pay $1.30 a mile UNTIL the produce starts running and the trucks leave for greener pastures. Ya, get bent allright.

I love the people from their home state no matter where it is, sticking up for their state. California is actually one of my favorites so that is why I am so disappointed in their regulations. Make the air cleaner. I am all for it! Just give people a chance to clear the air by giving incentives for going to cleaner equipment, not by banning every piece of equipment that doesn't meet the standard. It doesn't matter what I think, the businesses in California are going bankrupt one by one because of their own ridiculous regulations. California only produces agriculture and even that is on its way out. I hope something happens that turns things around over there, I really do, but until then, my business is elsewhere and I do very well staying out of there.

I have seen it many times

The new day cab tractor picks up the trailer at the port and takes it to their yard out of la and a different tractor with a sleeper hauls it out if state

He said in his post... they will take $1.10 to take a load into CA to get that $1.90 load out of CA. So you misread his post. Go back and take a look.
