I drive for Prime but I don't think you could go wrong with either company as both will have their pros and cons.

 

Sounds to me that you want regular home time. SNI offers that.

If Prime says 1 day off for every week... That means you will only earn one day off for each week you work. They usually don't tell you the minimum time you have to stay out in order to take off. Most are at least 2 weeks out. Some are 3. Awfully hard on a family.

With SNI, you can get on a dedicated. Dedicated makes more money than OTR or regional. And you get regular time off...

For 1 thing they are about to change the hours of service rules. Schneider has sensors on the trucks that won't let you idle unless it under 20 degrees or over 70 degrees. Schneider will get you home when you get home. I worked there a year ago. I worked there 12 years ago. Unless you are going to team I would not work there.
I have never worked at prime. I hear they take care of their drivers while on break. That's what matters. Think about your creature comforts before you decide. I would go up to a truck stop. Wait beside the fuel island for a Prime truck and ask him how they keep them war in winter and cool in summer. Also ask them if they have inverters. Don Schneider is gone now. Bean counters are running the show now. Got to a truck stop and check. I think Prime has APU's.
