I'm trying to figure out why anybody thinks trucking is a nasty industry..its profit driven like any other. No body forces anybody to stay at a sorry company...they do it by choice or maybe necessity...but not by force. A career in trucking is just like any other..you get out of it , just what you choose to put into it.

 

Being able to admit that is gonna be a big help and good motivator also..good luck in your search.

It is a nasty, cutthroat industry. Sure it is profit driven like every other industry but, profit margins in trucking are slim.

 

After over 3 decades in the industry Mack185 , I respectfully disagree with you your view. I'm retired now , comfortably too , made a life out out it........... raised 2 sons sent them both to college , one even through medical school. My wife was also a stay at home Mom. I'm sure that some have had a worse time than I , but like I said you get back what you put in.
