Pilot I-57 Marion, IL. Wow, sat in 3-mile long backup where I-64 and I-57 join northwest of Mount Vernon, IL. Road construction down to single-lane for about 1/2 mile, how anti-climactic.![]()

FJ I-70 x123 Spiceland IN. Heading to Appleton WI heavy paper roll load. Couple other drivers last night bs'n with at the shipper I forget where. Both were new one str8 out rdtc and the other 2 months in. I left there discombobulated last night pretty late so I shut down early. Didn't think I'd make this load with the time I gain back everyday but it worked out. I was planning to relay but now looks pretty good. Prob hit the term afterwards since I need to do laundry, scan this trip and get a few things for the truck. Maybe wash the truck as well at least a decent wash better than Mother Nature. 12 rolls 44k was fun ech...

Sitting home, got me a 2013 Prostar a couple weeks ago, only 41K on it when I got it. Those guys down in Ellenwood did a great job cleaning her up and fixing the couple small things that were wrong with it. I almost forgot how much nicer these are then that 06 I had. Have been running paper logs that last couple weeks till I get a reset in, took a couple days to get back in the routine with them, but I am back to prefering them over elogs.

Pilot I-84 exit 104 in Oregon. Had a load from Spokane to Iowa, but had to do a relay with a 7/3 driver so he could get home on time. They sent him to Saskatchewan and then gave him a load to Portland. Which I now have.

The plural of Sasquatch is Sasquatch. Apparently one of our fellow Roehl drivers thought that 3M in Wausau,WI was Graphic Packaging. Which are nowhere near each other. My Dad drives local for 3M and was nice enough to open the gate to let the guy turn around and give him directions. Guy told my Dad he was following his directions and that's where it took him.

Sitting at the hook in Birmingham, AL after an easy 635 mile day. Don't have to start until 1030 tomorrow so its waste away night in the sleeper!
@ OSU, wet pavement will kill you when sliding tandems. A trick is to find a curb or big pothole so the wheels don't want to slide or can't.
@Drflush, with Roehl taking away the edit feature on elogs, I to now long for paper logs. Not to do anything illegal, because I don't, but to have the ability to correct an error or oversight. Having to call safety for every edit is just BS! I didn't flag my post trip a couple of days ago, call safety? Screw you! Total waste of time! If I missed that on a paper log, I can catch it and correct it MYSELF! Big brother Roehl f ING things up again! -
jacob Thanks this.
