These thing comes with blocked features while I am driving, what makes it more useless than it is by its poor quality. Is there a way to enable it without the dealership's help? Please advise.
I mean c'mon. I bought this stuff, I paid for it, I want to use it whenever I want. To have warning, that is okay, but to block it? Why not put some wire into our brain to controll our eye movements and our mind. Okay, rant is over.

I'm not sure. but this is Paccar system and you have to visit Paccar dealer
-
You will have to search with its features when at a stop with the parking brakes on. Once you find it you will have to disable it, it will give you that option only when the parking brakes are on. You will have to do this everytime you start the truck.
-
Please let me know where is this feature, because I ca not find anywhere.
-
I could not find this feature and according to Kenworth it is in the computer.
-
I will look in the morning at a truck with it and get back with you later tomorrow night.
-
Didn't get to look at the truck today. They both left before I got to work. I will try again on Monday.
Oram Thanks this. -
Anyone have any new info on this? I have a new truck with smart nav and I'm in the same boat. It might be unsafe for me to dial my phone on the screen while I'm driving but I'd like my passenger to have the option without me taking my phone out of my jacket everytime or using the ridiculously horrible voice recognition feature
Oram Thanks this. -
Have you figured out how to disable it tet?

In 5 years? He probably ditched and replaced the truck.
