It is getting to that stage.Nothing,I mean nothing is ''for sure'' it seems. The last month my so called ''loads'' have cancelled left and right leaving me hanging out to dry.I am not sure what the hell is going on anymore...
The ''agents'' blame the customer and the customer blames the the agents.Meanwhile we BCO's take it in our ###..

When you lease to a carrier or work as a company driver and are paid on percentage, you should expect to be paid what is in your contract. There should not be any surprise deductions. When you work on percentage, you won't be paid to deadhead, but you have an opportunity to earn a bigger paycheck than those running mileage, even with the deadhead. If you feel that those with whom you are doing business are not being honest with you, then it is time to make a change. I won't do business with people that I don't trust.
landstar8891, Cowpie1 and Raiderfanatic Thank this. -
Correct. And the only way to ''know for sure'' is to ask the owner to see the ''original'' freight bill..That is if it has not been whited out or fudged in any way shape or form. The big question is this..How many drivers have the courage to ASK for the originals.I am sure OOIDA can help with that,if needed.

Ya might wanna start watching for those black helicopters... they hoverin over ya...Raiderfanatic Thanks this.

I WILL NOT TAKE THAT TO PERSONAL FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN TRUCKING LESS THAN 10 MONTHS.You have alot to learn.

Could it be due to the Agents finding a driver to run the load cheaper?landstar8891 Thanks this.
-
Bingo
.Or the customer found someone cheaper..
Travelinman Thanks this. -
Or maybe the ole bait and switch?
The agent lists the load at a crazy high rate in order to generate lots of calls, then talks down the price blaming it on the 'fickle customer'.Cowpie1 and landstar8891 Thank this. -
The more i learn about the ''business'',i feel like an old road hoe being turned out..Travelinman and Cowpie1 Thank this.

Not true drivers im an agent aswell as a owner operator so many times things dont line up i have a customer ask for a rate i submit it they take it only to either not have the driver answer his phone hrs later or take a cheaper load. These people run a business aswell they cant always have an answer when you need it gotta wait sometimes. Also service service service always will get you more money ive quoted $4,5mile and got it cuz my driver waited on me and didnt call a million agent's
