"There are one Million carriers you can drive for but only one Maverick" -Received my literature in the mail today as a perspective future driver. (Fancy Brochure here)

I see their are many choices, but I am hoping for Long haul Flatbed it says .42-.43 cpm starting out.

$500-$1000 driver referral bonus I wonder who I would give to that lol...

I have narrowed it down between Melton, and Maverick. In August I will decide which company to go with, but between now and then I will be researching and listening to

everything on here. Any opinions, or comments/ experiences are greatly appreciated.

Well if you start reading some of these threads from post #1 you might know all you need to by August LOL. If you've got it narrowed down to 2/1,000,000 you are 99.9% done!
Good luck to ya, and when you have questions that you can't be answered from reading older posts let us know, we'll do what we can to help you out.

Idea #273 for Maverick, add a FAQ to the recruiting web site. Then we could just post the link.

maverick paids better than melton truck line. You can get the same miles and still swing by the house. The choice is yours. trucking companies are like a wife find one you can put up with and they can put up with you.

I never thought I would stay as long as I have at maverick. Been here since 07 they keep paying me more money every year.as far as I'm concerned best company I have ever drove for.

As far as a referral bonus. If you do come to maverick I will say Jim

My 2cents, I was approved for Melton. I had researched, and pm'd current Melton drivers like crazy. Melton has excellent equipment. The same problem I kept hearing was....very low miles. Very low. Do hard research. Maverick has guaranteed pay, too many "pros" to name here. Whatever you decide, good luck.

That is ironic, but funny, especially after receiving the brochure.

I say Jim because he has been running his thread since day one. When someone beets him on seniority for time and postingI will give my nomination to them.

I don't want no bonuses I make way too much money all ready. LOL
