So calling a cop on someone driving recklessly isn't being a 'man' anymore? lol

Sorry dude, but you have one skewed view after another on what this industry and the people in it should be like.

They probably tell them the fuel island is the safe place to park too. Walking from the back of the parking area increases the risk of getting run down or robbed after all.

My favorite is hearing drivers talk about the slow(55mph)trucks in the hammerlane coming around the Watermelon 500 (I-285) in Helanta! It's 55mph all the way around. No trucks in left lane. and if you try to stay in the right lane you may be exiting well before you want to.

No, but, a lot of the attitude about this stuff comes down to an all-about-me attitude. Too many freight haulers, especially if they're running a truck that isn't governed, absolutely can't stand being passed.

I learned around heavy haul, and got used to being passed. That happens when you're 50,000-pounds heavier than the truck next to you.

You are professional when you let up on that throttle that eighth of an inch rather than cutting off the next truck, keeping the flow of traffic smooth.

What honestly does amaze me is the idea that skipping around -trying- to keep 75mph up actually helps. Often you can keep up a better average speed if your foot isn't completely to the floor every moment it can be. Why? Because you're not coming up behind others and constantly and having to slow down.

Just so some people won't think that I was quoting something out of context just to make the statement look worse than it is, here the entire quote.

Blue - We were asked to stop arguing in the other thread and you start arguing about arguing.

    Purple - See post 24

Green - a. It seems that this is your explanation as to why the principle isn't correct, but ...............there is nothing in this paragraph that contradicts the Uniform Vehicle code.
...........b. I completely agree with everything in this paragraph, which leaves me baffled as ...............to why you are arguing the opposite way in your other posts.

Red - Maybe I missed it, but I don't remember anyone saying that.

Yea I know. Now you're mad cause I put the whole quote instead of just one part.

I think there might be a misinterpretation going on here then. If your gripe is about drivers who linger in the left lane, then I have the same gripe. If you're upset because you're stuck behind a slower vehicle while they are trying to pass another vehicle, you need a new line of work.

Here's how I look at it...and its with this situation and lots of other situations in this job...you do you boo boo , and let me do me. Everyone gets worked up over this...and you wont see that truck or person again later on that day...get on about your business...
