You know what they call those? Liquid IQ tests... While I object to the invasion of privacy, I have no sympathy for those who knowingly participate in such a program & then fail.

Nice fallacy of an argument. I had no idea there was going to be a DT as a human resources rep, on the subject of company policy, openly told my group of trainees that what we decided to do on our free time would not be of the company's concern unless it appeared to be affecting our work. I don't know about you double yellow, but to me that says no DT unless you're screwing up, which I never did; noreover, out of the six trainees I had the highest customer satisfaction and retention due to getting customers to resign contracts right on the phone (I worked for a cell phone carrier). My performance never gave them reason to question, only the results of the DT, according to the manager who informed me of my firing.

It wasn't a DOT test though. Who cares about a call center? I wouldn't fret to much about it. If they ask you if you have ever failed a DOT drug test you say "no". That's all they care about. Insurance purposes.

Hireright isn't strictly exclusive to transportation.

I would look at trucking companies that don't use HireRight to avoid this potential issue and while your at it...I would challenge the report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and hope the past employer doesn't respond to verification of information. HireRight will then be forced to drop the negative information.
